Who We Are

Hare Consulting Group (HCG) is a For-Profit entity created as a Social Purpose organization with the goal of achieving meaningful reconciliation by ensuring the full participation of Indigenous Peoples and in partnership with as many interested faith-based groups located in Newfoundland and Labrador and the Province of Ontario.

What We Do

The vision is to focus on the 94 calls to action listed in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission report and to work with all parties to address gaps in services to the Urban Indigenous population and on reserve. Hare Consulting Group has already established an extended working relationship with the United Church of Canada since 2019 along with other denominations. Hare Consulting Group and the United Church will create a partnership to work towards building healthier urban and rural Indigenous communities.

The Mission, Value, and Goals

The Mission of HCG is to bring together Indigenous Peoples, Government and Faith Based Groups to create meaningful and full participation in a holistic way where Indigenous Urban communities can thrive in mainstream society. The intent is to use the truth and reconciliation report as a guide in implementing some of the gaps in services and programs. HCG core values are Service, Social Justice, Community, Respect and Empowerment.

Morgan "Wally" Hare

The President of the company has more than 20 years of management experience as an Executive Director for Indigenous non-profit organizations. The company president managed budgets which ranged from 2.5 million to 10 million annually. The staffing levels also ranged from 20 to 65 employees under his stewardship during this time. More importantly, in the past two years, the company president been employed as a Project Manager with one of the United Churches to develop a partnership strategy to create an Indigenous Outreach Services program in their facilities and to look at a capital fundraising plan to one of their properties. HCG was created to try and open Indigenous Outreach centers in urban areas and to employ Indigenous and Faith Based employees to address reconciliation. The President of HCG is Indigenous and has a vast degree of knowledge of in many facets of managing a large portfolio for Indigenous non-profit groups.
